AgileSwitch® ASDAK+ Augmented Switching™ Dev Kit

Microsemi / Microchip AgileSwitch® ASDAK+ Augmented Switching™ Development Kit demonstrates the characteristics of the 2ASC-12A1HP SiC Gate Driver Core when used with different SiC MOSFET Power Modules. The ASDAK+ Development Kit enables designers to adjust system performance through software using the Intelligent Configuration Tool (ICT) and a Device Programmer, with no soldering required. The ICT offers configuration of different drive parameters, including On/Off Gate Voltages, DC Link and Temperature Fault Levels, and Augmented Switching Technology profiles. Small changes to the Augmented Switching Technology profiles can yield dramatic improvements in switching efficiency, overshoot, ringing, and short-circuit protection.
