Torex Semiconductor XC930x Step-Up & Step-Down DC/DC Controller ICs
Torex Semiconductor XC930x Step-Up and Step-Down DC/DC Controller ICs can be realized only using basic external components: transistors, inductors, diodes, and capacitors. These DC/DC controller ICs switch from PWM to PFM control during light loads, and high efficiencies can be achieved over a wide range of output load conditions. The XC930x DC/DC controller ICs feature a 2V to 10V input voltage range and a 300kHz oscillation frequency (for XC9301 and XC9302, a switching frequency of 180kHz also can be set). Another key feature includes internally set soft-start time (10ms), which protects against in-rush currents when the power is switched on and prevents voltage overshooting. Typical applications include PDAs, palmtop computers, portable audio equipment, and various power supplies.Features
